Service was great. Room was quite large and very clean. We really enjoyed the fresh coffee, game room (they have a free to use pinball machine!!), pool and popcorn. Thanks for a great stay!
I've stayed here twice. There appears to be two towers in the building and the decor is subtly different. There is a pool, a meeting room, and breakfast is provided. There is also a small "convenience store" by the front desk, in case you forgot your toothbrush or want a midnight snack. Staff are friendly and helpful, and even willingly help you with discounts if you qualify. Moreover, staying at the Canalta means you get a 10% discount with Montana's or Boston Pizza nearby if you show your room card. Also... free popcorn by the reception! :)
Room was clean, showers had good water pressure. The pool was very popular while we were there (sold out). Breakfast had a lot of hot and cold options. Very busy at 8, but staff kept up. The rest of the staff were very friendly. Our lamp light bulb and air conditioner wasn't working properly, and when the Manager heard, she apologized promptly and adjusted our bill fairly upon checkout. Hotel is just off the highway and seems to be one of the more popular options in town, judging by the parking lots of competing brands. Hotel is close to the highway, and close to both Dinosaur National Park and Royal Tyrell (Dinosaur) Museum. We would definitely stay here again and am happy with our first stay with the Canalta brand hotel.
This place was great! The rooms were clean and well stocked. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub one night. While we didn't use the pool slide, we thought it was awesome that they even had one! The kids using it seemed to be having a lot of fun. There was a basic continental breakfast. Nothing fancy, but there was enough food and was continually restocked as more people arrived. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is free popcorn in the lobby throughout the day, and 24/7 free coffee/tea as well. We will definitely stay at a Canalta again!
We stayed in Brooks for one evening and Canalta was the perfect home away from home, expect for our home doesnt have a pool and amazing water slide! Check in and out was quick and the service was friendly! The room was huge, and well kept and quiet! I appreciated the pillow cases indicated what firmness the pillow was, and the mattress was heavenly! It made getting up so much harder! We enjoyed the pool and water slide before going to Montanas which Canalta guests get a 10% discount, always nice! Thank you for a great stay!
